Pregnancy and Child Care
Rs. 220

When I found out I was pregnant, one of the major issues I would think about was child care. I was working at a day care, and I didn't want to quit my job, but at the same time, I didn't want to let someone else raise my son. Just so happens, I got "laid off" at six months pregnant. I wasn't living with my boyfriend yet, and I filed for unemployment because I knew nobody was going to hire a pregnant woman. My boyfriend brought up the whole idea of being a stay at home mom, which sounded great, but I worried about the finances. He made plenty of money, but depending on someone else for money is not really my thing. I got a job as a modeling instructor basically for 8 hours a month. Unemployment said that since I was working, I didn't need unemployment (or partial unemployment), and stopped it. My son was about 4 months old at the time. My boyfriend and I had been living together for a few months now, and were splitting the bills.
